Trevor Boyd, PhD, P. Geo, Independent Qualified Person
Dr. Trevor Boyd is a professional geologist with over 30 years of experience in the mining industry working worldwide as a consultant, qualified person, officer, and director with both private and public companies. Trevor is a member of the Association of Professional Geoscientists of Ontario (APGO) and the Northwest Territories and Nunavut Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists (NAPEG).
Since 1987, Trevor has worked with numerous mining companies including Noranda, Falconbridge, and Westmin Resources for a variety of commodities on projects in North America, Asia, and Europe. He has also lectured in economic and structural geology at York University.
Over his career, Dr. Boyd has completed property assessment and due diligence studies, managed drilling programs, and written several technical reports including those compliant with the NI 43-101. His experience includes base and precious metals, uranium, nickel-copper-PGM, and specialty metals projects including tungsten, tin and indium.
Dr. Trevor Boyd is an independent qualified person. He is a member of the Association of Professional Geologists of Ontario and a qualified person as defined by National Instrument 43-101. Trevor has a PhD in geology from the University of Toronto (1996) and an MSc (Applied) MINEX degree from McGill University (1988).
Previously, Starfield Resources published a technical report on resource estimates in 2007, a Preliminary Economic Assessment (PEA) in 2008, and a updated Preliminary Economic Assessment (PEA) in 2011.
